What Energy Sorted does
Energy Sorted operates a solar quote-request and introduction service. We help homeowners provide information about their property and energy requirements so that they can request a personalised solar or solar-and-battery quote from a selected installation provider.
Energy Sorted is not a government body, grant provider, energy supplier or solar installer. Unless expressly stated otherwise, any installation, survey, product recommendation, finance arrangement or contract is provided by the installer or supplier identified to you.

- Electricity use, electricity costs or tariff information

Sharing your information
To provide the quote-request service, we may share relevant information with:
- USOLAR LTD, trading as USOLAR LTD, so it can assess and respond to the quote request you asked us to arrange
- Website hosting, form, CRM and email service providers acting on our instructions (currently Lovable for hosting and forms, and Google for email)
- Analytics and advertising providers when the required consent has been obtained (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta)
- Professional advisers, insurers, auditors and legal representatives
- Regulators, courts, law-enforcement bodies or public authorities where legally required
- A purchaser or successor organisation if our business or relevant assets are sold or reorganised
USOLAR LTD may act as a separate data controller after receiving your information. Its handling of your information will also be governed by its own privacy policy.

Quote-related contact
When you request a quote, Energy Sorted and the installer identified to you may contact you by telephone, email or SMS for the purpose of responding to that request. These service-related communications are separate from consent to receive unrelated or ongoing promotional marketing.
Marketing
We will only send optional promotional communications where we have an appropriate lawful basis. Where we rely on consent:
- The choice will be optional
- Boxes will not be pre-ticked
- Consent will be separated by communication channel
- Refusing marketing will not prevent someone from requesting a solar quote
- Consent can be withdrawn at any time
- Every promotional email or SMS will contain an appropriate opt-out method
