Our service

Energy Sorted provides an online solar quote-request and introduction service. We collect information supplied by visitors and, where appropriate, pass it to the installer clearly identified during the quote process.

Energy Sorted does not itself:

• Install solar panels or battery systems
• Carry out structural, electrical or property surveys
• Provide regulated financial advice
• Provide legal, tax or investment advice
• Guarantee eligibility, savings, generation or payback
• Operate a government grant or public funding scheme
• Enter into the installation contract unless expressly stated otherwise

Any installation, survey, finance, warranty, equipment or ongoing service will be governed by separate terms provided by the relevant installer or supplier.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to submit a quote request. The service may be limited by location, property type, ownership status, installer capacity and technical suitability. Submitting a form does not guarantee that a quote, survey or installation will be available.

Quote requests

You agree to provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge. You authorise Energy Sorted to share the information reasonably required to respond to your request with USOLAR LTD. The installer may contact you by telephone, email or SMS about the quote or assessment you requested. No obligation to purchase arises merely because you request or receive a quote.

Estimates and results

Any estimated costs, system sizes, electricity generation, savings, export income or payback periods shown on the website are illustrative. Actual results depend on factors including roof size, condition, pitch and orientation; shading; local weather and solar irradiation; household electricity use; energy and export tariffs; equipment selected; system design and performance; installation cost; maintenance; future energy prices; and findings from the installer’s survey.

A final proposal should be based on information and calculations supplied by the installer. Energy Sorted does not guarantee savings, payback periods, property-value changes or financial returns.

Installers and third parties

The selected installer is responsible for its own advice, surveys, quotations, product recommendations, accreditations, insurance, contracts, workmanship, warranties, customer service, and legal and regulatory obligations.

You should review the installer’s quotation, credentials, terms, warranty and privacy information before proceeding. Energy Sorted is not responsible for a third party’s acts or omissions except where the law says otherwise.

Fees and commercial relationship

The Energy Sorted quote-request service is free for homeowners. Energy Sorted may receive a referral, introduction or marketing fee from an installer when it receives or progresses an enquiry. This does not create an obligation for you to purchase.

Acceptable use

You must not:

• Submit information about another person without authority
• Provide deliberately false or misleading information
• Attempt to disrupt, damage or gain unauthorised access to the website
• Use automated systems to scrape or overload the website
• Use the website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes
• Copy or commercially exploit website content without permission

Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the website content, branding, layout and original materials belong to or are licensed to Energy Sorted. You may view and print reasonable extracts for personal, non-commercial use.

Website availability

We aim to keep the website available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may change, suspend or withdraw parts of the website where reasonably necessary. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for:
